You’re apparently using Internet Explorer 6, the world’s 8th worst piece of software of all time. This browser is very old, very unsecure, and very unfriendly towards modern web standards. Not only has Microsoft already released a newer—but not much better—version of Internet Explorer, there are are a handful of other, much better, free web browsers available: Safari 3 and Firefox 3.
I should note that I do write IE6-compatible web pages for clients. However, I’d rather educate the less browser-aware users on the web then support their ignorance (I don't mean to sound demeaning here). The web tastes better with a modern browser.
